Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the German Toxicology Society (GT) it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 46th Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology from September 13th to 16th, 2009 in Dresden, Germany.
Choosing Dresden as the venue for the EUROTOX 2009 is an honour and commitment for all toxicologists in Germany. The meeting will take place in the International Congress Center which represents a superb conference facility located in walking distance to the world-famous city centre of Dresden.
Since the Fall of the Wall, Dresden has experienced enormous changes in society, architecture, infrastructure and sciences. Nowadays, the city combines a uniquely rich cultural life with modern spirit and continuous scientific progress. Dresdens historic centre with its baroque flair and numerous popular sights such as the rebuilt Frauenkirche, the Semper Opera House or the Zwinger (to name just a few), is part of the Dresden Elbe Valley - a world heritage site since 2004. The city states an important centre of science with plentiful universities, technology and scientific institutes. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape, Dresden furthermore provides a picturesque environment for exceptional leisure tours. Several social events which include the visit of some of these highlights will be part of the conference programme.
Above all, your participation at the congress implies attending the biggest European toxicology event which is focussed on expertise, qualification, innovation and education. You may get in touch with experts, potential business partners and clients as well as the offspring. The EUROTOX Local Organizing Committee is currently preparing and finalizing an attractive scientific programme which covers all important and relevant topics in the field of toxicology. Therefore, we need and appreciate the support of all member societies and speciality sections of EUROTOX. The conference organizer K.I.T. Dresden and the chair of the Local Organizing Committee are at your disposal.
Our ambition is to realize a successful and productive congress for all participants, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors. Hence, mark the 13th to 16th of September, 2009, and register for the opportunity to experience science and cu
lture in the heart of Europe in Dresden!
